Bibimbap Recipe
Serves 2
The Rice
Steam 1 cup of rice on stove. I prefer steaming the rice on stove than using a ricecooker to avoid wastage. Grease a pot sufficiently big for mixing with some sesame oil. Transfer the rice into the pot and warm on low heat.
The Toppings
Use 1 cup of each of the vegetable toppings.
The Carrots
Stir fry the sliced carrots with pepper, salt and sesame oil for 2 minutes. Arrange on top of the rice.
The Baby Corns
Stir fry the sliced baby corns with pepper and salt for 2 minutes. Arrange on top of the rice
The Lettuce
Cut into thin slices and arrange on top of the rice. Optional to mix with vineger.
The Cucumber
Stir fry the sliced cucumbers with pepper, salt and sesame oil for 3 minutes. Arrange on top of the rice.
The Mushrooms
Stir fry the sliced mushrooms with garlics, onions, salt, pepper and sesame oil. Arrange on top of the rice.
The Anchovies
Melt one teaspoon of sugar. Fry the anchovies with the melted sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper. Arrange on top of the rice.
The Minched Meat
I used minched Turkey as I dont take beef. Preferably beef actually.
Defroze and marinate the minched meat with sugar, corn flour, plain flour, soy sauce, pepper and sesame oil. Fry the minched meat with garlics, onions, pepper, soy sauce and sesame oil on medium heat. Arrange on top of the rice.
The Egg
Fry an egg on medium heat to own preference.
Red Pepper Dressing
2 tablespoons of red pepper dressing with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
To Assemble and Mix
Remove the pot from the stove once every topping is ready. Mix with spoon until the rice is evenly spreaded with red pepper dressing.
enjoy. =)
